While working as an intern with Karen Whitehead and Katherine Wilkins De Francis on their documentary Imitating Life - The Audacity of Suzanne Heintz, I had the opportunity to collaborate with social media intern, Becky Bastien, to build the social marketing strategy for the film's Kickstarter campaign. We created the film social profiles, planned content strategy, scheduled posts via Hootsuite, and interacted with fans of the film and Suzanne. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn and to gain experience building a social marketing campaign from the ground up!
