This summer I was thrilled to return to work with the Washington Scholars Program at George Mason University! The Washington Scholars Program runs both the Washington Youth Summit on the Environment (WYSE) and the Washington Journalism and Media Conference (WJMC) every summer, welcoming high school students from around the country to connect over shared interests, learn from experts in the field, and explore everything the DC area has to offer.
As an alumni of WJMC myself, it is always so special to connect with these students and even more so to be able to capture their experiences!
